The neighbour – is it an actual person or a vague guess? Perhaps he is just a delusion, wishful thinking or memory. Through their products the designers Sarah Böttger (D), Hanna Ernsting (D), Karoline Fesser (D), Florian Hauswirth (CH), Hanna Krüger (D), Kai Linke (D), Julien Renault (B) and Thomas Schnur (D) envision what at first is not tangible. From 14th through 20th January 2013, the exhibition “Objects for the neighbour” envisions what initially is out of reach. The focus is on the neighbour: 8 designers create objects on the subject of neighbourhood, which they will display throughout the Passagen in Cologne.

Der Nachbar – ist das eine konkrete Person oder eine vage Vermutung? Womöglich ist er auch ein Trugbild, eine Wunschvorstellung oder eine Erinnerung. Durch ihre Produkte machen die Designer Sarah Böttger (D), Hanna Ernsting (D), Karoline Fesser (D), Florian Hauswirth (CH), Hanna Krüger (D), Kai Linke (D), Julien Renault (B) und Thomas Schnur (D) sichtbar, was zuerst einmal nicht greifbar ist. Vom 14. bis zum 20. Januar 2013 macht die Ausstellung „Objects for the neighbour“ sichtbar, was zuerst einmal nicht greifbar ist. Im Fokus steht der Nachbar: 8 Designer gestalten Objekte zum Thema Nachbarschaft, die sie zu den Passagen in Köln zeigen werden.
